The Pharmacy Inventory Associate is responsible for providing inventory solutions to a broad array of pharmacy customers and locations across the nation. You will scan the barcodes for the current inventory at Customer locations to provide them with proper inventory information that will assist them in making better business decisions and better supporting their customers! Team Requirements

  • No previous inventory experience necessary, we are looking for awesome people like you to Come Count with Us!

Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time with occasional walking; the ability to use both hands and wrists for repetitive motions; the ability to frequently be in low level positions, such as squatting, kneeling, or crouching; the ability to frequently use a ladder; the ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.; the ability to frequently travel via car and occasionally via plane, including overnight stays.

As a Front Pharmacy Clerk within the Growth Operations team, you will perform various duties related to research of Pharmacy claim information, inventory, Pharmacy benefit information, creation/routing of pharmacy orders through receipt, review, and verification of members'/patients' prescriptions to support Technicians with initiating Inbound Transfers of prescriptions from Retail Pharmacy to Home Delivery. You may also need to perform outbound calls to members/patients to inform them of prescription status and obtain/clarify information when needed.

As part of the Growth Operations, you may be involved in special projects which can consist of taking inbound calls or making outbound calls.

Schedule: Ability to work between our business hours of 6:00AM-6:30PM CST is required. Currently, the shift being offered is 8:00AM-4:30PM CST. Training is typically held between 8:00AM-4:30PM CST.

Position Overview

The Office of Clinical, Administrative and Program Support is seeking to hire a Pharmacy Technician to perform adjunctive professional pharmacy work including dispensing medications. Fills unit dose cassettes. Reviews prescriptions and compounds prescriptions. Enters prescription data into the computer. Completes logs and reports. Performs simple stockkeeping and housekeeping. Performs duties in accord with applicable Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA), Public Health, Department of Human Services (DHS) and facility policies, rules and procedures as well as other applicable laws and regulations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Performs adjunctive professional pharmacy work including dispensing medications.
  • Reviews prescriptions and compound prescriptions, advises supervisor of issues or concerns.
  • Performs simple stockkeeping and housekeeping duties (i.e. cleaning cassettes, shelves, counters, etc.).
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of high school.
2. Requires Illinois registration as a registered certified pharmacy technician.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • This class is included as an Upward Mobility Program credential title.

Conditions of Employment

  • Requires ability to communicate in oral and written form.
