INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW:

Duties

  • Conduct receiving, protection, distribution, replenishment and destruction activities involving various forms and negotiable instruments.
  • Maintaining materials management services and systems, as well as warehousing and transportation services, for a multitude of center materials and supplies.
  • Develop, maintain and upgrade automated custody, asset inventory and material management systems.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly inventories and advise center staff of all regulations and procedures affecting the storage of securities and negotiable instruments.
  • Perform various manual tasks (such as furniture repair or other related tasks).

Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to hire a storekeeper who will work on a shift schedule on site, at our facilities located in Quebec City. Shifts are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (on rotation).

A top down selection of candidates may be used at any stage of this process in the determination of those to be given further consideration in the process.

Indeterminate employees at the same group and level or equivalent will be considered for deployment. If no deployment is made, applicants from other groups and levels will be considered in the advertised appointment process.

In addition to a resume you must answer all screening questions. Failure to do so in the prescribed manner may result in your application being rejected.

Interviews will be conducted.

Reference checks will be conducted.
